Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has today announced that it has integrated its portal of choice, the Avelo Exchange Portal, with its new practice management system, XPLAN from IRESS.

SBG selected global technology company, IRESS, in November 2011 to provide a complete technology solution using the latest software. IRESS is currently working closely with SBG to deliver its XPLAN practice management system.

PMS, the largest mortgage club in the UK, has announced the appointment of Manchester Building Society to its lender panel.

The addition of Manchester Building Society boosts the PMS panel to 49 lenders and will give advisers access to a range of competitive services. Manchester Building Society predominantly provides residential and buy to let mortgages and offers a personalised service and bespoke risk assessments.

The Society has been on the Sesame network lender panel for many years and now PMS members can also benefit from the Manchester’s individual, non credit-scoring approach to writing business.

PMS and Sesame are teaming up for Mortgage Extra Live, a series of 12 regional adviser events taking place throughout March and April. The seminars will start in Watford on Tuesday 20th March and finish in Belfast on Thursday 19th April (full list of dates and venues below).

Mortgage Extra Live has been designed to help advisers gain a valuable insight into the latest issues and the emerging opportunities in mortgages, protection and general insurance. Advisers will also have the opportunity to network and share ideas in roundtable forums. The events are being supported by some of the UK’s leading mortgage lenders and product providers.

The Connells Group and Sesame Bankhall Group will today commence a new strategic partnership, formerly announced in September 2011. The agreement will involve a range of services including the provision of protection products through Connells’ network of 450 mortgage consultants.
