In addition to helping Bankhall strengthen the relationships with the firms it currently serves, and expanding its reach across the UK to support more new firms, the three appointments will focus on proposition development. Their conversations with existing and prospective Bankhall clients will give them a unique and pertinent perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing advice businesses operating within the current regulatory landscape. Along with their existing market knowledge, they will use this insight to develop new and innovative solutions to support directly authorised firms in key strategic areas.
The three new Strategic Relationship Managers are:
Frank O’Donnell joins from BMO Asset Management where he was Vice President of Regional Sales, with a focus on firms and advisers based in the north and Scotland, an expertise which he will carry with him into his new role. Frank has 34 years of experience in the industry having held various senior positions whilst working with both national and key regional advisers.
Andrew Lock has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services starting his career with Equity and Law in Cardiff. Most recently he was a Regional Manager Advisory Relationships at Standard Life in the South West. Andrew also worked as a Business Development Manager in the platform team. Andrew has worked with both national and key regional accounts across the UK.
John Wilson also has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and also joins from Standard Life where most recently he was Regional Manager Advisory Relationships. John also worked in the Major Distribution Team working with advisory firms across the UK. John’s career began in general insurance broking in Scotland.
The three new Strategic Relationship Managers will report into Ross Liston, Managing Director at Bankhall and PMS. Ross commented:
